Martijn Bregman is a Research Scientist at The Water Institute, where work has been conducted since August 2018, following a role as Research Associate. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Intern position at Deltares, conducting exploratory research on parameterization methods for spiral flow in river bends, and an internship at Rijkswaterstaat in the Flood Protection department, analyzing coastal surveying methods. Martijn also contributed to flood resiliency research in Durban, South Africa, and has a background as a student assistant and co-founder of the Green Office at TU Delft, while also serving as a board member of the Central Student Council. Martijn holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, along with an Academic Minor in 'Delta Expert, Water for the Future.'
