Amy Shellenberger

Amy Shellenberger is an experienced operations associate at The Water Project since August 2022, with a diverse background in nonprofit marketing and development as a self-employed consultant since January 2016. A freelance writer and editor since 1999, Amy previously served as the marketing and event coordinator at Gonzaga University from July 2017 to May 2019 and held the position of director of development and outreach strategies at Polar Bears International from February 2011 to February 2016. Earlier in Amy's career, the role of program director was undertaken at Crested Butte Ski Club from October 2004 to April 2009. Academic credentials include an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College, obtained between 1997 and 1999, and a BA in English, French, and Psychology from James Madison University, earned from 1991 to 1995.
