Iain Moffat

Iain Moffat is a seasoned professional in internal auditing and finance with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as VP and Chief Internal Auditor at Wawanesa Insurance since January 2022, Iain has held key roles at leading organizations such as RBC, where Iain was Senior Director of Wealth Management and Insurance - Internal Audit from December 2017 to January 2022, and RSA (Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada) in various positions including Director of Corporate Treasury & Finance Operations and Internal Audit Manager from May 2006 to December 2017. Iain's career began at Manitoba Public Insurance as an Internal Audit Manager from 2001 to 2006 and includes a tenure as Senior Staff Accountant at Arthur Andersen until the firm's dissolution in 2002. Iain holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manitoba.
