Mandy Radeline

Mandy Radeline has a strong background in news production and management. Mandy began their career as a News Producer at WTHI-TV, where they produced weekend newscasts and gained experience in live shots, breaking news, and managing the news desk. Mandy then moved on to WRDW-TV, where they produced both the 6 and 11pm news and helped the station reach the top ratings in just six months. Mandy continued their success as a News Producer at WHIO-TV, where they played a key role in creating and launching a new 9pm newscast. Mandy later joined ABC11 Eyewitness News - WTVD, starting as a News Producer for the 5pm newscast and eventually being promoted to 6pm producer. In this role, they successfully targeted the young female audience and consistently gained viewership ratings over the competition. Mandy then transitioned to a management position as an Assignment Manager at ABC11 Eyewitness News - WTVD, where they utilized their strategic vision to improve the management approach of the assignment desk. Most recently, Mandy worked as a Writer/Producer for WGCL/CBS46, where they filled in as the main producer of a 4pm newscast and covered various significant events, including the COVID-19 pandemic and riots in Atlanta. Mandy also launched a podcast and produced special programs, demonstrating their versatility in both traditional and digital media. Currently, Mandy is working as a Writer/Producer at The Weather Channel, where they write content for shows, produces guest segments, and pitches story ideas. Mandy quickly adapted to new systems, terminology, and even gained some knowledge in meteorology. Throughout their career, Mandy has consistently shown their ability to excel in news production, adapt to new challenges, and deliver high-quality content.

Mandy Radeline completed their undergraduate education from 1985 to 1987 at UC Santa Barbara, where they pursued a field of study in English Language and Literature, General. Mandy then transferred to UCLA in 1987 and completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General in 1990.
