Samantha Mohr

Samantha Mohr is an accomplished meteorologist with extensive experience in television weather forecasting. Currently, Mohr serves as a Meteorologist at The Weather Channel since March 2022 and as a StormTracker Meteorologist for WXIA 11Alive since June 2015, where responsibilities include weekend evening broadcasts and serving as the primary fill-in for the Chief Meteorologist. Previous experience includes roles as a Weather Anchor for CNN from January 2013 to May 2015, covering Asia and UK newscasts, and as an On-Camera Meteorologist at The Weather Channel from August 2007 to December 2011. Mohr also held the position of Chief Meteorologist at KPIX CBS5 San Francisco from August 2001 to July 2007, receiving three Emmy Awards and other accolades for work in the Bay Area. Mohr began a career in meteorology at KTVK 3TV, where the role evolved from Morning Meteorologist to various newscast assignments over 11 years. Educational qualifications include a BA in Broadcast Meteorology from the University of St. Thomas and a BSED in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Georgia.
