George Kalliamvakos has over a decade of experience in digital marketing and strategy, currently serving as the Head of Planning, Strategy & Operations at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi since October 2011. In this role, George leads integrated teams to develop digital platforms and marketing programs while collaborating with C-suite leadership on long-term strategies. Previous positions include Head of Digital and Senior Digital Manager at DCT Abu Dhabi, where George oversaw digital project management and delivered various digital solutions. George is also a judge for the Webby Awards and has a background in digital consultancy and marketing management across various companies, including Kalliamvakos.gr, Sunsoft Ltd., Digital Business Networks, and Infodomi. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business.
