Tom Reid

Tom Reid is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in manufacturing strategy and operations management. Currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing Strategy at The Weir Group PLC since October 2017, Tom is responsible for the development and execution of the Global Manufacturing Strategy. Previous roles include Operations Director for North Africa and Central Asia at NATCA, where output grew significantly over two years, and Regional Head of Value Chain Excellence at ENACAR, supporting various projects across multiple countries. Tom's career also encompasses positions as a Consultant at PA Consulting Group, Performance Improvement Consultant at PwC, and multiple engineering roles at Rolls-Royce and Caterpillar Inc. Tom holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
