Kara Donovan Becker

Kara Donovan Becker is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in clinical support and therapy across various settings. Serving as a School Behavioralist at Arch Bridge School since August 2014, Kara provides individual and group therapy sessions for students, implements mindfulness programs, and collaborates with educational staff to develop behavioral and clinical plans. Previous roles include Outpatient Therapist and MFT Intern, where Kara worked with diverse populations managing mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Earlier experience includes counseling youth with eating disorders at Center for Discovery, where Kara led therapeutic groups and contributed to treatment plans. Kara holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Quinnipiac University.
