Jana Suthers has extensive experience in gender health physiotherapy, currently serving as a Gender Health Physiotherapist at The Wesley Hospital since September 2010 and transitioning to a Senior Gender Health Physiotherapist role at St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital in January 2024, where responsibilities include service development and team leadership. Jana holds a Master's degree in Physiotherapy studies from The University of Queensland and is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Leadership (Health and Human Services) from the University of Tasmania.

The Wesley Hospital, located in Auchenflower, Brisbane, is a not-for-profit private hospital, owned and operated by The Uniting Church of Australia, under Uniting Care Health. With 524 beds, the Wesley is one of the largest private hospitals in Queensland and offers a wide range of clinical services in modern facilities.
