Delise R. Becker M.ed.

Delise R. Becker, M.Ed., has extensive experience in education and administrative support, currently serving as a retired Executive Assistant to the President/CEO of The Wesleyan since March 2018. Previously, Delise held the position of Executive Assistant/Project Coordinator at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock, where responsibilities included supporting executive leadership and managing various administrative projects. Delise's career at Pearson North America encompassed roles as a Senior Assessment Specialist and Senior Content Specialist, overseeing content development for ELA/Reading assessments. Delise also worked as a Freelance Copy Editor for the Texas Council of Teachers of English Language Arts and served as an Educational Consultant for the Texas Education Agency. Prior experience includes roles as an English Language Arts/Reading Curriculum Specialist for the Austin Independent School District and over 16 years as an elementary and middle school teacher. Delise earned a Master of Education with a concentration in Reading Education from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from The University of Texas at Austin.
