Bob Rowe

Bob Rowe is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy sector and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at The Westly Group since January 2023, Rowe focuses on supporting Limited Partners and invested companies in the U.S. Prior to this role, Rowe was the Chief Executive Officer of NorthWestern Energy from January 2008 to December 2022, managing a publicly traded company that provides electric and natural gas services across several states. Additionally, Rowe contributed to various industry and non-profit boards from 2008 to 2022, co-founded Balhoff, Rowe & Williams, LLC, specializing in financial and policy consulting from 2004 to 2008, and held the position of Commissioner and Chairman at the Montana Public Service Commission from 1993 to 2004. Rowe holds a Doctor of Law from the University of Oregon School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Lewis & Clark College.
