Marileia Borges

Marileia Borges is an experienced educator currently serving as a High Level Teaching Assistant at The White Horse Federation since January 2022, focusing on supporting new arrivals in KS1 and KS2 with English language acquisition. Previously, Marileia held the position of Executive Teaching Coordinator at Wise Up from January 2019 to May 2021, where responsibility included pedagogical leadership and teacher development through reflective practices. Additional roles include Coordenador educacional at Wise Up and Substitute Teacher at UFTM, along with teaching English at CNA - Inglês Definitivo. Marileia holds a degree in Licenciatura em Inglês from Universidade de Uberaba and has pursued further education with The Bell Foundation in mid-2023.
