Cara Chang

Cara Chang currently serves as a Special Assistant for Health & Veterans and Immigration at the Domestic Policy Council of The White House, a role assumed in October 2024 after completing an internship in the same office focusing on labor, communications, and anti-hate initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as President of The Harvard Crimson, where the publication earned numerous prestigious awards during Cara's leadership. In addition to print journalism, expertise in digital engagement was demonstrated through roles as Newsletter Editor and Social Media Manager for the Crimson. Cara has also held internships with Crooked Media, the United States Senate, and other organizations, showcasing a commitment to civic engagement, social media strategy, and advocacy. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in History from Harvard University, following a high school diploma from Groton School.
