Julie Shackett

Julie Shackett, PHR, is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in talent management and recruitment. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Talent Management at The Wilderness Society since December 2014, Julie has held various progressive roles including Director of Recruitment and Hiring and Deputy Director of Human Resources. Previously, Julie managed human resources at The Umstead Hotel and Spa, overseeing associate benefits and employee relations while also serving in training and front office management capacities. Early career experiences include front office coordination at The Ritz Carlton and The Four Seasons. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Hospitality & Tourism Management from the College of Charleston and multiple professional certifications in human resources.
