Malyna Kettavong

Malyna Kettavong, LCSW, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in clinical supervision, practice ownership, and behavioral health training. Currently serving as the Clinical Supervisor for Ambulatory Behavioral Health East Region at The William W. Backus Hospital since December 2024, Kettavong has also owned and operated Kettavong Counseling, LLC since June 2016, providing comprehensive, evidence-based outpatient services. Previous roles include Manager of BHS Training and Clinical Consultation at United Community and Family Services, where responsibilities encompassed clinician training and supervision, initiative implementation, and program development. Kettavong's early experience includes clinical internships at Yale New Haven Hospital and The Learning Community, along with a research assistant position at Butler Hospital. Kettavong holds a Master of Social Work degree from Smith College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution.
