Melanie Deyoung

Melanie DeYoung is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Corporate Counsel at Windquest Group since June 2018, providing strategic legal support in areas including employment law, risk management, compliance, intellectual property, and commercial transactions. Prior to Windquest Group, Melanie held various roles at Farmers Insurance from June 2009 to June 2018, including lead counsel for multiple product lines and oversight of independent agent compliance. Additional experience includes positions as Adjunct Professor at Grand Valley State University, Compliance Specialist at Gerber Life Insurance Company, and Associate Attorney at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP. Melanie DeYoung holds a J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, along with ongoing executive education in Mergers & Acquisitions from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
