Jim Ball

Jim Ball is a seasoned technical trainer with extensive experience in the nuclear and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as a Technical Trainer at The Wine Group since March 2020, Jim specializes in employee training on mechanical and electrical system operations as well as safety protocols. Prior experience includes roles such as Training Program Manager for the Reactor Training Division on the USS Carl Vinson, where Jim led the development and execution of training for 500 sailors, and Senior Enlisted Advisor in Japan, overseeing the Reactor Department's performance on a nuclear aircraft carrier. Jim has also excelled as a Senior Operations and Maintenance Manager on USS Abraham Lincoln, managing reactor control and safety systems, and as Operations Manager at the Nuclear Power Training Unit, where Jim led a team of instructors for hands-on training of nuclear operators. Educational background includes the Naval Nuclear Power Pipeline program, culminating in a Reactor Operator qualification.
