Rachel Falender

Special Education Teacher, Grades 5-6 at The Winnetka Public Schools

Rachel Falender is a dedicated special education professional with extensive experience in various educational settings. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher for grades 5-6 at Winnetka Public Schools-District 36, Rachel has developed and implemented research-based instructional programs while facilitating IEP meetings. Previously, Rachel held roles at Avoca School District 37 and other institutions, where responsibilities included co-teaching, providing direct instruction, and adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, including English Language Learners. Rachel's education includes a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an ESL Endorsement from Concordia University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education from Indiana University Bloomington.
