Todd Burleson

Library Media Specialist/resource Center Director/author at The Winnetka Public Schools

Todd Burleson began their work experience in 1992 as a 5th-grade teacher at Vanstory Elementary School. Todd then worked as a 4th-grade teacher at Greeley Elementary School from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 1998, they served as a 4/5 Grade Teacher at Baker Demonstration School. In 1998, they joined Hubbard Woods Elementary School as a Teacher Grades 3-4, where they worked until 2011. Since 2011, they have been employed at Winnetka Public Schools-District 36, first as a School Library Media Specialist until 2019, and then as a Library Media Specialist/Resource Center Director/Author.

Todd Burleson attended Ohio University from 1988 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. Todd then pursued further education at National Louis University from 1996 to 1998, obtaining a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. In 2012-2013, Todd attended National Louis University again, focusing on School Librarian/School Library Media Specialist.
