Omar Atiq is a Distinguished Professor of Medicine and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at UAMS. Prior to this, Omar served as the Founding President and Director at the Arkansas Cancer Institute. With a background as a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist, Omar also gained specialized training in cancer medicine and blood diseases during their fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Omar Atiq completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) at Khyber Medical College, University of Peshawar, Pakistan.
