Kevin Meinert is an accomplished software engineering leader with extensive experience in various technology domains. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Shield AI, Kevin focuses on developing advanced AI pilot systems through the Hivemind project. Previous roles include VP of Software Engineering at AVIA, where Kevin built high-performing product-led teams and managed stakeholder expectations, and Chief Technology Officer at Level EX, advancing medical training through innovative gaming technology. With a strong background in 3D graphics, game development, and agile methodologies, Kevin has also held positions at HERE Technologies, Sun Trading LLC, LucasArts, High Voltage Software, and served as a Research Scientist at the Virtual Reality Applications Center.
