Cissy Baker is an experienced professional with a diverse background in both media and substance abuse counseling. Since August 2016, Cissy has worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor at The Women's Home, assisting women in early recovery to establish a foundation for long-term sobriety. Cissy’s previous experience includes significant roles in journalism, serving as Vice President Washington Bureau Chief for Tribune Media from August 1995 to June 2009, and as Vice President and Managing Editor for both Fox News Service Inc. and CNN, where Cissy managed national news coverage and reported on key political events. Cissy has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Mt. Vernon College at George Washington University and a Certification in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Northern Virginia Community College.
