Drew Essen

Drew Essen is an experienced executive pastor currently serving at The Woodlands Methodist Church since July 2022. Prior to this role, Drew held several positions at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church from April 2014 to July 2022, including Executive Pastor, Director of Strategic Communications and Contemporary Worship, and Director of Worship and Community Life. Drew began the ministry career as Assistant Youth Director and Worship Design Coordinator at Christ United Methodist Church in Sugar Land, TX, from May 2011 to March 2014. Educational credentials include a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Southern Methodist University (2020-2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from the University of Houston.
