Kristen Floyd

Kristen Floyd, CPM, LCMHC, has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership and counseling roles. KRISTEN is currently serving as the Executive Director at The Work Activity Center since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Weber State University starting in August 2022.

In 2013, Kristen joined Counseling HUB as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, where they provided top-tier services for outpatients, recommended effective solutions for clients to express their feelings, and executed and monitored community healthcare for uninsured clients.

From 2017 to March 2023, Kristen held the position of Executive Director at Safe Harbor Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Crisis Center. KRISTEN directed the planning and implementation of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services for Davis County and oversaw non-profit operations with an annual profit and loss of $1.7M.

Starting in 1998 and concluding in May 2014, Kristen worked at the Department of Workforce Services as a Service Area Director. In this role, they were responsible for establishing strategic direction, designing efficiencies for high-quality services, and overseeing a team of 50+ employees.

Kristen Floyd, CPM, LCMHC (she/her), obtained their Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from the University of Phoenix in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Weber State University. KRISTEN holds several additional certifications, including being a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator from the National Board of Forensic Evaluators, Inc. in 2022. KRISTEN is also a Certified EMDR Therapist and a Certified Mental Health Intern Supervisor, among others. Additionally, they are a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of Utah and holds various training certificates in areas such as executive communication and customer service skills.
