Iain Thomson

Iain Thomson is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in software development and team management. Currently serving as Head of Architecture, Development & QA at The Works Stores Ltd since January 2021, Iain previously held the role of IT Development Manager. Prior experience includes a tenure at Ideal Shopping Direct from June 2013 to January 2021, where Iain advanced from Software Developer to Software Development Team Lead, managing a team focused on front-end web development. Earlier positions include Software Engineer at Mediatheme Ltd, and roles in education and customer service at New College Stamford, PC World, and Select Education. Iain holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a 2:1 Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Technology from the University of Lincoln.
