Lorraine Lupini

Patient & Community Engagement Board Member at The Wright Center for Community Health

Lorraine Lupini assists with children’s programs and brings awareness to the barriers that many geriatric patients face in transportation, healthcare appointments, medication reminders, and companionship.

Her passion for nurturing young learners propelled her 32-year career in public education. Although now retired, she maintains the same drive, using knowledge gained as an elementary teacher, reading specialist, and reading supervisor to inform her work with community organizations. Experience within her own family has also motivated her to become an advocate for the elderly.

Other boards Lorraine has served on including the Scranton Lackawanna Human Development Agency’s Head Start Program Advisory Board and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Reading Association, as a representative from Valley View School District.
