Ania Wertz

Ania Wertz is a Partner at Penfil and Wertz, specializing in psychologically informed leadership, team, and organizational consulting for the biotech, healthcare, and education sectors since September 2023. With extensive experience as an Executive Leadership Coach and Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice since July 2012, Ania focuses on coaching executives and business partners, as well as offering psychodynamic psychotherapy. Current roles include Executive Leadership Coach for Genentech gRED and UCSF Health, along with providing coaching for Medicaid leaders at the Center for Health Care Strategies. Ania also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Kaiser Permanente, The Wright Institute, and San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis, and has held teaching positions, including a lecturer role at UC Berkeley from 2000 to 2003. Ania holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology, a PhD in European Intellectual History, an MA in Russian History, and a BA in History.
