Emily H.

Emily H. is an accomplished novelist and writing teacher with a diverse background in education and editorial work. Since August 2014, Emily has authored critically acclaimed historical novels, including "CLEOPATRA'S SHADOWS" and "THE DROWNING KING," at Little, Brown and Company. As a writing teacher at The Writers Grotto since February 2020, Emily designs and teaches novel-writing classes. Previous experience includes tutoring students in standardized test preparation at Swell Education and Matthew Baldwin Associates, along with roles as a cover editor and associate editor at Salon Media Group, where editorial expertise was applied to various subjects. Emily holds a BA in Sociology from Yale University and received early education from Ethical Culture Fieldston School.
