Louis MacDonald Ames

Louis Macdonald Ames has worked as the Head of Operations at THE WYE AND USK FOUNDATION since 1997. In this role, they have been responsible for various tasks such as working on the ground, fish passes installation, and riparian habitat creation. Prior to that, they worked as a Fry Manager at TEST VALLEY TROUT LIMITED from 1988 to 1997.

Louis Macdonald Ames attended Sparsholt College Hampshire from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Fish farming and fishery management. Louis Macdonald also holds additional certifications including Bat cl17, Chainsaws many and aerial, Crayfish cl11 and 23, DSC1, Firearms certificate, and NEBOSH.
