Ben Shlansky

Ben Shlansky has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ben is currently serving as the Director of Operations & Technology at XD Agency since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Strategy / Sustainability at the same company since January 2020.

Before joining XD Agency, Ben founded Connected Home Help in 2018, where they provided consulting services to homeowners on navigating smart devices and developing custom connected home plans. Ben remained technology agnostic to offer personalized guidance. Ben served as the Founder of Connected Home Help until January 2020.

From September 2018 to June 2019, Ben worked as the Strategy and Growth Director at Bidgely, an AI/Data Science startup that transformed consumer engagement for leading electric utilities through disaggregation technology.

Between April 2015 and March 2017, they held the position of Manager, Partner Channel Business at AutoGrid Systems. In addition, they worked as a Business Development Manager, C&I Solutions from July 2014 to April 2015.

Earlier in their career, Ben gained experience as the Director of Technical Services at Revolt Energy LLC from February 2013 to February 2014. Ben also worked as the Customer Development Manager at Honest Buildings from May 2012 to November 2012.

Ben's earlier roles include Manager of NYC Operations at R3 Energy Management from November 2011 to May 2012, Systems Analyst at R3 Energy Management from July 2009 to November 2011, Manager at Spin Cycle from May 2008 to June 2009, Cook at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort from November 2007 to May 2008, and Sales Associate at REI from January 2001 to December 2005.

Ben Shlansky attended Cornell University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science.
