Ian Young

Ian Young has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Ian is currently the Partform Lead at The Yield, where they started in 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Isentia from 2016 to 2018, where they focused on architecting solutions for a large-scale media data company. From 2012 to 2016, Ian was the Development Team Lead/Scrum Master at RoZetta Technology, responsible for delivering commercial-grade software development projects in the financial research, innovation, and big data field. Before that, they worked at SIRCA Ltd from 2000 to 2012, starting as a Software Developer and eventually becoming a Software Architect and Development Team Lead. At SIRCA, Ian was involved in several projects, including creating a new virtualization platform and delivering a highly available multi-region ingestion system for banks and hedge funds. Overall, Ian has a strong background in software development, architecture, and team leadership, with expertise in financial data systems and analytics.

Ian Young attended the University of Sydney from 1998 to 2000, where they received a Bachelor of Computer Science degree (BSc). In October 2015, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the ScrumAlliance.
