Roberto Mormina is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in intervention and prevention strategies, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at The YMCAs of Quebec since October 2022, where involvement includes overseeing the expansion of a mindfulness-based program to support youth coping with anxiety and stress. Previous roles encompass counseling at Curv Health, LJB and Associates, and Dialogue, in addition to serving as a Mental Health Therapist and Client Care Counsellor at LifeWorks, where responsibilities included conducting risk assessments for various mental health issues. Early experience includes serving as a Youth Protection Delegate at Batshaw Youth and Family Centres, where investigations of child abuse and neglect were conducted. Additionally, experience includes positions as a Youth Worker at YMCA Canada and as an Intervention Worker, where therapeutic interventions were provided to adults with psychiatric disorders. Roberto holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology from Concordia University.
