JT Hand

President & Chief Executive Officer at The York Water Company

JT Hand began their work experience in 2001 as the Chief of Facilities and Construction at US 3rd Army. In 2003, they joined the US Army Corps of Engineers as the Deputy Commander of the Baltimore District. In 2008, Hand became the Chief Operating Officer at The York Water Company and later took on the role of President and Chief Executive Officer in February 2020. At The York Water Company, they lead a team that serves over 200,000 customers across three Pennsylvania counties, providing water and wastewater services.

JT Hand earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. Prior to that, they attended Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY from 1976 to 1980. Recently, they also completed a Master of Business Administration degree at York College of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2019.
