Ivette Marques Faulkner, APR has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of public relations, strategic communication, and marketing. Ivette is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Director of the Consumer Division at The Zimmerman Agency since July 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Executive Vice President of Strategic Communication & Marketing at the Florida Chamber of Commerce from July 2020 to July 2023.

From December 2017 to July 2020, Ivette worked at The Zimmerman Agency as the Senior Vice President of Public Relations. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Public Relations at the same agency from July 2011 to July 2020. In these roles, Ivette successfully developed and executed public relations strategies for various national consumer brands, such as Pilot Pen, Firehouse Subs, Party City, Schafer Corporation, Extended Stay America Hotels, and more. Ivette also represented these brands as a spokesperson through broadcast segments, including Spanish television appearances. Additionally, Ivette played an active role in managing the PR department and contributed to new business development.

Prior to their tenure at The Zimmerman Agency, Ivette worked as the PR Director at Kidd Group from June 2010 to July 2011. Ivette was responsible for account management, media relations, proposals/RFPs, and new business development within the agency.

Before that, Ivette worked as a Senior Account Executive at Ron Sachs Communications from September 2006 to June 2010. In this role, they handled various communication tasks and client management responsibilities.

Ivette began their career as a News Reporter at WCTV in July 2004. Ivette initially served as the bureau chief in Thomasville, covering local news events and later transitioned to the role of Nightside Reporter for FOX49, covering general assignment news and occasionally serving as a fill-in anchor.

Throughout their career, Ivette has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a thorough understanding of public relations and communication strategies. Ivette'sexperience spans across multiple industries, including consumer brands, chamber of commerce, integrated communication, and news reporting.

Ivette Marques Faulkner, APR completed their undergraduate education from 2001 to 2004 at Florida State University. Ivette earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Studies & French during their time there. In 2010, they obtained additional certification as an APR (Accredited in Public Relations) from the Universal Accreditation Board.
