Mike Martin

Mike Martin is a dedicated professional in computational physics, currently serving as the Manager of Computational Physics at Thea Energy since September 2022. Prior to this role, Mike worked at Sandia National Laboratories as a Computational Physicist and Staff Scientist from January 2021 to September 2022, and also held the position of Postdoctoral Appointee. Academic accomplishments include a PhD in Physics from the University of Maryland, where Mike was a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2015 to January 2021. Earlier experience includes research and teaching roles at The University of Iowa and the University of Maryland, as well as internships and co-op positions at General Atomics, Synthes, and Electric Boat. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, earned in 2013.
