John Barounis

John Barounis has a long history of work experience, beginning in 2006 as a System Administrator at the Technological Educational Institute of Crete. In 2008, they held the same role at the same institution, while also working as a student employee at the University of La Rochelle. From 2011-2016, they held the role of Director of Technology at CREAMY W GROUP LLC, 48 Projects Inc, and Creamy White Inc. In 2016, they became Co-Founder and CTO of Theasys.

John Barounis has a long and varied educational history. In 2003, they began their Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering at the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, which they completed in 2008. In 2006, they attended an Embedded Systems course at the same institute. In 2007, they attended a course in Intelligent Computer Systems at the Faculty of Advanced Technology in Galati, Romania. In 2009, they attended a course in Informatics at the Technological Educational Institute of Crete and a course in Computing Aspects of Computer Games Development at the Brno University of Technology. In 2011, they attended an Open Source Software course at GRNET S.A. & ΕΕΛ/ΛΑΚ. Finally, in 2017, they attended a Power Python Summer School course at the University of Patras, for which they received a Certificate of attendance and successful completion.
