Dori Brown

Dori Brown is an accomplished Lighting and Scenic Designer with extensive experience in theater and education. Since 2004, Dori has worked independently while also contributing as a Scenic Designer for Valley Youth Theatre and East Valley Children's Theatre, and as a Lighting and Scenic Designer for Theater Works. Dori served as Associate Faculty at Arizona State University from 2011 to 2020, teaching courses in design and composition, and held an adjunct faculty position at Paradise Valley Community College from 2013 to 2017. Dori's previous roles include positions at Arizona Broadway Theatre and Encore Creative, as well as engineering roles at Three Five Systems and Arete Associates. Dori's academic background includes an MFA in Theatre from Arizona State University, a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona, and a BS in Marketing from Oakland University.
