Andrea Piancastelli

Andrea Piancastelli is a seasoned translator with extensive experience across various companies, including freelance work since September 2014, and current positions at thebigword, Tradas, Mars Translation Services, and D&T Translations. In addition to translation, Andrea has a background in the art and auction industry, having worked with Christie's in both the Wine and House Sales and Private Collections departments, as well as serving as a cataloguer for English Heritage, and assisting at Sotheby's in the 19th Century European Paintings department. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History specializing in Archaeology from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and has further educational credentials in Mayan Archaeology from the University of Indianapolis and a diploma in Languages and Art History from St.Umiltà Lycée in Faenza, Italy.
