Kirk Vandenberg has over 27 years of experience in the medical field, currently serving as Program Manager for ThedaStar Air Medical at ThedaCare since March 2011, alongside the role of Chief Flight Nurse. Prior to this, Kirk Vandenberg worked at Ministry Health Care from January 1996 to March 2011, where responsibilities included Critical Care Transport Nurse and Base Manager for ground transport bases in Weston and Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Early in the career, Kirk Vandenberg gained clinical experience in both the Pediatric and Adult Intensive Care Units. Kirk Vandenberg holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, earned in 1995.
