Pia Gellein Merkesdal

Pia Gellein Merkesdal serves as COO and Secretary of the Board of Directors at TheFactory, an esteemed accelerator and venture capital firm recognized as the Best Accelerator in the Nordics. Since February 2018, Pia has played a pivotal role in supporting entrepreneurs through various initiatives, including accelerator programs and co-working spaces. Additionally, Pia holds multiple board positions across several entities, including TheFactory Ventures AS, TheFactory Growth AS, TheFactory Accounting AS, TheFactory Angels IV AS, TheFactory Angels VII AS, SAMEIET NEDRE SKOGVEI, and TheFactory Capital AS, contributing expertise and leadership in the fintech and proptech sectors. Pia is also the Chairperson of the Board for Bestum FAU and actively participates in promoting innovation and growth within the startup ecosystem.
