Jose Torbay

Jose Torbay is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience across various sectors. As the CEO and Co-Founder of TheGrint since 2012, Jose has been instrumental in product design, business model development, sales, and cultural promotion. Additionally, Jose is a Founding Partner at Fondo Atlas and previously co-founded Ocho Digital Inc., serving as a Board Member from 2012 to 2018. With a background in management consulting at McKinsey & Company from 2008 to 2012, Jose specialized in operations, cultural transformations, and efficiency improvements across diverse industries. Early career roles included Operations Specialist at Amazon and Operations VP at Grupo de Empresas Pinova. Jose holds an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a degree from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
