Kevin Martin

Kevin Martin has an extensive work experience in data engineering and analytics roles. Kevin currently holds the position of Data Engineering Manager at TheGuarantors since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer at both TheGuarantors and Amway from May 2022 to January 2023, and November 2021 to May 2022, respectively.

Before joining Amway, Kevin served as a Senior Data Engineer and Manager in Supply Chain Technology & Analytics at Spectrum Health. In these roles, they were responsible for optimizing data pipelines, managing internal data models and transformation integration workflows, and developing analytics maturity roadmap. Kevin also supervised analytics and reporting development, system upgrades, and team expansion.

In earlier positions, Kevin worked as a Senior Application Analyst and Solution Architect at Meijer, where they collaborated with business owners, vendors, and team members to evaluate and recommend solutions. Kevin also served as a Business Intelligence Developer at BlueGranite and a Senior Application Developer at Meijer, overseeing the implementation of modules for online sales using C#/VB. NET and WCF Services.

Additionally, Kevin gained experience as a Senior Consultant at RCM Technologies, where they developed business intelligence solutions and supervised resources for various initiatives. Kevin also worked as an Independent Consultant at Open Systems Technologies.

Kevin's career began with internships as a Software Developer at Smiths Aerospace and Atomic Object.

Kevin Martin graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, which they pursued from 2000 to 2006. Kevin has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the GCP Specialization - Data Engineering.
