Jeffrey Hall has a long and varied career in media, beginning in 1978 with the founding of Seat-of-the-Pants Management, Inc., where they invented and marketed novelty gift items. In 1979, they joined The Kansas City Star as Vice President of Marketing, where they headed up all marketing operations for the Capital Cities/ABC newspaper. In 1987, they were selected as a White House Fellow, serving in the Office of Policy Development in the White House and specializing in welfare reform. From 1988 to 1991, they worked for the Los Angeles Times, first as President of the Valley & Ventura County Editions and then as Vice President of Marketing Services. In 1991, they founded Westside Today, a community newspaper company, where they served as Editor & Publisher. In 2010, they joined THE LATEST (thelatest.com) as Editor & CEO, providing all "the latest" information on a wide variety of topics.

Jeffrey Hall's education history consists of attending Gunn High School, Stanford University from 1971 to 1974, where they earned a BA in Communication, and Harvard Business School from 1976 to 1978, where they earned an MBA in General Management. Jeffrey also holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Stanford University.
