Denise Nevarez

Denise Nevarez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Denise began their career as a Program Director at The Valley Inc. in 1990 and held the position until 1999. Following this, they worked as a Child Development Instructor at West side YMCA from 2001 to 2005. Denise then joined KLC as a Teacher from October 2008 to April 2009, where they were responsible for planning engaging activities, assessing children's progress, and collaborating with colleagues. In 2009, Denise became a Sales Representative at Avon, a position they held until 2011. Denise then worked as a Receptionist at JB Associates from March 2010 to August 2014. Finally, Denise joined The Learning Experience as a Teacher in January 2014, where they currently work.

Denise Nevarez obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from SUNY New Paltz, which they pursued from 1982 to 1987. Denise then embarked on furthering their education in Bilingual and Multilingual Education by earning 12 credits towards a Masters Degree from The City College of New York, although the specific duration of this endeavor is unknown.
