Tisha Addison

Tisha Addison has a diverse work experience in the field of education and caregiving. Tisha began their career in 1992 as a Teachers Aide at the Teaneck Board of Education School Age Childcare program, where they worked until 1998. From 1998 to 1999, Tisha served as a Teachers Aide at the Teaneck Community Charter After School Program. Tisha then worked as a caregiver to infants and toddlers of teen parents at Westside infant daycare/ Teen Parent Program from 1996 to 2000. In 2000, Tisha joined Kindercare Learning Center as a Co Teacher, and they stayed there until 2003. Tisha then worked as a Live-Out Nanny for Mr. and Mrs. Johansen from 2003 to 2004. From 2004 to 2011, Tisha worked as a Teacher Assistant at Our Gang Daycare, where they supported class teachers in various tasks related to teaching and student development. In 2018, Tisha joined JCC Rockland as an Early Childhood Educator, and they worked there until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Teacher at The Learning Experience.

Tisha Addison began their education in 1990 at Bergen Community College, where they pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education. Tisha completed this program in 1994, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS). In 2000, Tisha returned to Bergen Community College to further their education, this time focusing on Sociology. Tisha obtained an Associate's Degree in Sociology in 2002.
