Christopher Vera

Christopher Vera is an experienced educator currently serving as a General Education Teacher for 3rd Grade Math at the NYC Department of Education, a position held since September 2022, alongside responsibilities as a Special Education Teacher for 4th and 8th Grade Math in an Integrated Co-Teaching setting. Prior to this, Christopher gained valuable experience as a Behavioral Therapist at A & J Behavioral Health and as a Special Education Teacher and Long-Term Substitute at Greenburgh Central School District. Additional roles include Permanent Substitute Teacher and Special Education Teacher for Somers Central School District, Student Teacher at Croton-Harmon Union Free School District, and various positions as a Teacher Aide. Christopher holds a Master's degree in Childhood Education and Special Education from Manhattanville University and is pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Reading Science from Brooklyn College.
