Roberto Maki

Roberto Maki has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Roberto currently works as a CG Lead at The Mill since the beginning of 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a CG Lead at Moving Picture Company from 2017 to January 2022. During their tenure at Moving Picture Company, they also worked as a Senior Lighting Artist, where they specialized in lighting scenes, shading and texturing assets, and pre-comping renders.

Before their time at Moving Picture Company, Roberto worked as a Freelancer 3D Artist at Robertomaki.com from 2014 to 2017. Roberto also held the position of Lead 3D Artist at Old Skull Studio from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a 3D Artist at Vetor Zero from 2010 to 2013, and at 6B Estudio from March 2009 to October 2009. Additionally, Roberto worked as a 3D Artist at Zuffo Fotografia from April 2007 to March 2009.

Outside of the 3D industry, Roberto was a Translator at Avament from May 2006 to July 2007 and a Language and DTP trainee at Bowne Global Solutions from July 2004 to February 2005. Roberto also worked as a QA at Fidelity Translations Ltda from February 2003 to September 2003. Throughout their career, Roberto has gained experience working with various software and tools such as CAT Tools like Trados, TRTools, HP Strass, Flexytrans, and IBM-TM.

Roberto Maki obtained their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Art/Art Studies, General from ETE Carlos de Campos in the years 1996 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Language Interpretation and Translation at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, completing their studies from 2001 to 2004. Finally, they obtained another Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Faculdade Ibero Americana, where they studied from 2004 to 2007.
