Georgios Mavropoulos

Georgios Mavropoulos is an experienced embedded software engineer currently working at THEON SENSORS S.A. since June 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an application engineer at u-blox from March 2019 to June 2021 and as an R&D engineer at KYON, where significant contributions were made in designing the KYON pet tracker, collar, and Tester Module, along with involvement in the development of the BLE communication protocol. Previous roles also include R&D engineering positions at Miltech Hellas S.A., focusing on thermal imaging systems for military applications, and at SONAK SA, where work was done on tactical radio communications jamming systems. Georgios holds multiple degrees, including a BEng (HONS) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University, an MSc in Intelligent Control from Liverpool John Moores University, and research experience in DSP at The George Washington University.
