Alex Rae Cooper

Alex Rae Metzger has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

From 2019 to the present, Alex has been employed at The Pinnacle Companies, initially starting as a Business Development Coordinator and then progressing to the role of HR & Operations Manager. In August 2021, Alex assumed the position of Director of People & Culture, where they currently work.

Prior to joining The Pinnacle Companies, Alex worked as a Program Manager at Summit in Honduras from June 2015 to August 2019. They were responsible for managing programs during this time.

From July 2016 to May 2019, Alex served as a Program Coordinator at Mountain Mentors, demonstrating their ability to effectively coordinate programs in a different setting.

Before that, Alex was a Senior Services Program Manager at Summit County Community & Senior Center from July 2015 to July 2016, where they managed programs specific to senior citizens.

Alex gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry during their time at Dillon Dam Brewery, where they worked as a Waitress/Host/Food Runner/Expo from June 2009 to June 2015.

Alex also worked as a Student Assistant at Humboldt State University from July 2013 to May 2015, and as a Community Advocate (Residential Assistant) from July 2012 to May 2013.

Alex Rae Metzger earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Business with a minor in Spanish from Humboldt State University. They attended Humboldt State University from 2011 to 2015. In 2012, Alex also spent a year at Universidad Tecnologica Equinoccial Quito-Ecuador where they studied Spanish. They obtained additional certifications including Insights Discovery Accreditation from THE INSIGHTS GROUP LIMITED in April 2021, Colorado Prevention Specialist from the Association of Behavioral Health Professionals in September 2018, and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in February 2022.
