Sarah Miltner is the President and Co-Owner of Therafit Rehab, a specialized neuro-based outpatient rehabilitation center that has been operating since July 2017. With experience as an Occupational Therapist at JFK Johnson Center for Head Injuries from October 2009 to July 2017 and as the Founder and President of Making a Connection, Inc. from March 2012 to June 2017, Sarah has dedicated their career to aiding individuals with neurological conditions. Sarah holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Seton Hall University, obtained between 2003 and 2009.

PHYSICAL THERAPY - Our PT’s provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and help prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of members suffering from injuries or disease. Our PT's develop a individualized activity-based therapy program based on individual needs, abilities and goals. We strive to increase cardiovasuclar fitness, strength, endurance, flexibility, range of motion, balance, and coordination. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY - OT treatments are patient-centered, and planned around an individual’s specific needs and goals. These goals may include basic self-care activities, home care tasks, developing skills for hobbies, leisure activities, vocational tasks, exercise’s for the upper body, assessment for visual and spatial impairment, energy conservation measures for improved endurance and a variety of other functional activities. SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – SLP’s work to prevent, assess, diagnose disorders related to speech, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing. TheraFit's physical/occupational therapists also assist with equipment selection and provide expert training to families and caregivers to help ensure a smooth transition from the rehabilitation setting to the community or next level of care. TheraFit Rehab's Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapy treatments (including the Quadriciser) are covered by most private insurance companies and Medicare & Medicaid. AQUA THERAPY - We provide aqua therapy at Maryland Athletic Club (MAC) in Timonium MAINTENANCE/FITNESS THERAPY - A variety of after-therapy treatment options are available to allow the individual a continuum of care when all insurance is exhausted. We offer individuals one-on-one assistance with our certified fitness therapists and customize exercise programs based on the individual’s needs, abilities and goals.
